Our tomato sauce specialities come directly from Calabria, Italy, from our producer Giuseppe Sarubbi. We greatly appreciate his creations, as his ready-to-eat sauces are lovingly and carefully made according to traditional recipes. He does not use any additives such as flavour enhancers and/or colourings during the entire production process. The result is unique sauces and pestos that embody pure flavour and unsurpassed quality.
We source the tomato passata variations directly from Tuscany from the family business Mediterranea Belfiore. The three sisters Simonetta, Emiliana and Antonella Ciarlo, supported by their mother Renza, have specialised in the cultivation and processing of vegetable specialities with a focus on tomatoes. In 1989, they began converting to organic tomato processing, which has been completely organic since 1996. Their creations stand for the highest quality and gentle processing, taking ecological sustainability into account.
