The BIB format prevents precisely that. The 3-litre bag with tap is airtight (even when pouring the oil) and at the same time protected from light by the outer carton.

The Koroneiki olive – an indigenous olive variety of the Peloponnese (Greece) – is carefully harvested and cold-pressed using only mechanical methods. The climatic conditions and the proximity to the sea give this olive oil a unique taste.

In the late 1970s, two Austrians, Fritz and Burgi Bläuel, settled in the Mani region to explore alternative ways of life and economic systems. There they began to establish organic agriculture and the production of high-quality olive oil in collaboration with a few individual olive farmers. To date, MANI Bläuel has supported more than 300 farming families in converting to organic agriculture.
