Demeter products & delicacies from the Mediterranean region

We have been a Demeter member for more than 10 years and import biodynamic delicacies from the Mediterranean region. One of our favourite producers is Salamita from Sicily. Salamita - Bio Hortus has been committed to the consistent implementation of biodynamic farming methods for over 30 years. The cultivated areas are located near the picturesque Sicilian town of Barcellona, in the northwest of Sicily, around the majestic Mount Etna.

We source pasta and cold-pressed Demeter organic olive oil from Salamita. The members of the Salamita cooperative produce according to strict quality standards to guarantee you a product of the highest quality. The application of biodynamic methods ensures that nature remains in balance. The aim is a natural and sustainable cultivation that preserves the flavours and nutrients.
