The company was founded in 1952 by Donato Ciarlo in Cecina, a picturesque town in the province of Livorno, just a stone's throw from the sea. Over time, Donato's daughters Simonetta, Emiliana and Antonella also joined the company. Since the death of their father in 2001, they have continued to run the business with the support of their mother Renza and a great passion for high-quality Tuscan products. This dedication is also evident in the artichoke spread, which is produced using selected, organically grown artichokes and gentle processing.
