Organic Aceto Balsamico from Modena IGP ‘Campo del Picchio’ or simply ‘il Picchio’ is a traditional balsamic vinegar with good viscosity, intense colour and great clarity. il Picchio Aceto is characterised by its intense aroma and is rich in notes of ripe fruit such as plums, figs and pears. The Aceto Balsamico Campo del Picchio has a pleasantly light density of 1.16, making it ideal for everyday use. Traditional ageing in oak barrels and the exclusive use of organic Italian ingredients result in a high-quality product.
This Aceto Balsamico di Modena has its origins in the family business Fattoria degli Orsi. The Fattoria degli Orsi farm has been organically farmed since it was founded in 1982 and is located far away from busy roads to the south of Modena. Today, production and bottling take place at the traditional Acetaia Bellei Luigi & Figli s.r.l. in Modena.
