MANI olive oil

MANI olive oil

For over 40 years, Mani Bläuel has stood for extra virgin organic olive oil of the highest quality from Greece. The products are characterised by the harmony of all quality factors: The Koroneiki olive, a native variety of the Peloponnese, is gently harvested and cold-extracted exclusively by mechanical means. This method, combined with the excellent climatic conditions and the proximity to the sea, characterises the unmistakable flavour of the oil. The result is a first-class organic olive oil with a pleasant aroma of herbs and wild flowers and a slightly spicy flavour.

The organic pioneers from Greece

We have a long, shared history with the Bläuel family. In the late 1970s, Fritz and Burgi Bläuel settled in Mani to explore alternative ways of living and farming. Together with local olive growers, they began to develop organic farming and soon established themselves as pioneers in the production of high-quality olive oil. This commitment led to the development of the first certified organic olive oil in Greece in 1991, a product that is now exported worldwide.

When we opened our delicatessen in 1995, Mani Bläuel was our first producer. Since then, we have had a deep connection based on shared values and a clear focus on sustainability. These cornerstones have strengthened a 30-year collaboration in which MANI Bläuel has supported over 300 farming families to convert to organic farming.

Felix, the Bläuels' son, has been part of the management team since 2009 and brings fresh impetus for the future of the company. His significant contributions include obtaining Naturland Fair certification, which makes MANI Bläuel's long-standing environmental and social commitment transparent and verifiable. We are proud of our long-standing partnership and look forward to many more years of co-operation.
