The “Messinia Union – kalamata” is one of the most recognisable and traditional brands for extra virgin olive oil in the Greek market. It originates from the historic Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Messinia (Messinia Union) that is well known for producing the highest quality of extra virgin olive oil in Greece. The olive oil is based upon the single olive variety named Koroneiki from the area of Messinia in Peloponnese, Greece.
This olive oil is ideal as a salad dressing or to refine stews and sauces. At the same time this olive oil is excellent with grilled and steamed vegetables.
