Aglio lio e peperoncino spice from Calabrian - Italian seasoning from Sarubbi

Here is a simple and delicious recipe for spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino with the spice blend from Calabria:
Ingredients:
- 250 g spaghetti
- 3 tsp. aglio, olio e peperoncino spice blend from Calabria
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano (optional)
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh parsley, coarsely chopped, as garnish
- Salt & pepper if needed
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti al dente as directed on the package.
- While the spaghetti is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a low heat and add the aglio, olio e peperoncino seasoning mix. Stir everything well so that the flavours can develop.
- When the spaghetti is cooked al dente, lift it out of the water with tongs or a pasta strainer and put it directly into the pan with the spice mixture. This will absorb some of the pasta water, making the sauce smooth. (Pour on some pasta water if needed).
- Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
- Serve the spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino immediately on plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
