The high acidity in vinegar creates an environment that is inhospitable to many microorganisms, which extends its shelf life. Therefore, vinegar cannot "spoil" in the conventional sense. Even if it has some cloudiness or sediment, this does not usually affect its quality or safety.
This vinegar speciality from Tuscany is produced using the traditional Aceto Balsamico di Modena method. The basic vinegar is mixed with aronia juice and matured in wooden barrels. Aronia berries have a finely tart and sour taste, which adds a fruity aroma to the vinegar.
Aronia berries have an extraordinary nutritional value, are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. Besides anthocyanins, polyphenols and flavonoids, they contain high levels of vitamin K, not to mention vitamin C and manganese.

The cultivation and production location for this wonderful Pomegranate Balsamico is Tuscany. More precisely, the Azienda Agricola San Mario di Kunzi Martina, based in Bibbona. Founded by the Swiss Kurt Künzi, the Azienda has been cultivating and producing "super fruits" such as sea buckthorn, chokeberry, pomegranate and olives since 1989. At the same time, it is worth mentioning that the entire production follows biodynamic methods. The superfruits from the Azienda are processed into various products such as juices, vinegars and oils.
